The Fort Worth Barracuda announced plans to return to play in the MWHL this Fall. The Barracudas were one of two Texas clubs that played in the league prior to the pandemic. The Barracudas made a big splash in the Dallas-Fort Worth area by combining MWHL games with a number of high profile charity games against opponents such as the Dallas Stars Alumni team.
“We are excited to get back on the ice and have our fans back in the building cheering in the stands,” said Barracudas general manager Robin Mullen. “We love our community and the support they have shown us. Keep your eyes on us, as we have big plans.”
The Fort Worth Barracudas are a Senior A minor hockey club participating in the Mountain West Hockey League (MWHL). The club operates as a non-profit organization focused on providing local players a chance to continue their hockey ambitions while giving back to the Dallas-Fort Worth community.
